EU agrees to observe Algerian legislative election

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said that the EU is "ready" to send a mission to observe the legislative elections scheduled on 4 May.
A statement was issued by EU after Mogherini met on Wednesday with Algerian Foreign MinisterRamtane Lamamra, saying that "the European Union is ready to send a mission of experts to monitor the elections," adding that,"Mogherini approved the invitation sent by Lamamra on 22 January to observe the Algerian legislative elections."
